On March 27, FishPass Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture; CEO: Shigehiro Nishimura) announced the introduction of its online fishing license app "FISH PASS" at Snow Peak Inc.'s first managed fishing area, "Nakanokawa Designated Managed Fishing Area" (Ino, Kochi Prefecture), which is set to open on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. This integration enables advance reservations and the issuance of digital fishing licenses.
Located in Ino, Kochi Prefecture, this fishing area utilizes an approximately 5km stretch of the river basin in its natural state. It stands as a rare destination offering an authentic mountain stream experience with minimal artificial alterations. Fish species such as Amago salmon and Iwana (char) are sustained through natural breeding, allowing anglers to enjoy the beauty and powerful pulls characteristic of near-wild fish.
By adopting a strict reservation-only system limited to 10 visitors per day, it provides a serene environment where anglers can face the water at their own pace. The area is dedicated primarily to fly fishing, tenkara, and lure fishing, and strictly enforces a catch-and-release policy. Furthermore, by combining a visit with the "Snow Peak Ochi Niyodogawa Campfield," located about an hour's drive away, visitors can enjoy a comprehensive outdoor excursion.

Use of this fishing area (1-day ticket: 4,000 yen including tax) requires advance reservation and fishing license issuance exclusively through the "FISH PASS" app. Users book their desired date within the app and simply launch it upon arriving at the location to begin fishing.
Additionally, special benefits are available for Snow Peak members. By entering their Snow Peak membership number when purchasing a fishing license via "FISH PASS," users will be awarded the company's SPpt and LVpt.
■ ICT Startup League
This support program was launched in FY2023, sparked by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "Startup Creation-type Exploratory R&D Support Project."
The ICT Startup League supports startups through four main pillars:
1. R&D Funding / Hands-on Support
Up to 20 million yen in R&D funding is provided in the form of subsidies. In addition, the selection evaluation committee members who selected the league members will continue to work closely with them to accelerate their growth. For companies the committee deemed "absolute must-selects," a dedicated support system is in place where the evaluators themselves continuously offer advice on business plans and provide opportunities for growth.
2. Discovery & Nurturing
We provide opportunities for learning and networking to stimulate the business growth of our league members.
Furthermore, we aim to broaden the ecosystem by discovering individuals who aspire to start their own businesses in the future.
3. Competition & Co-creation
Serving as an arena for positive competition similar to a sports league, startups learn together and engage in friendly rivalry to secure the exact amount of funding they truly need (up to 20 million yen). Through various opportunities such as sessions led by the selection evaluation committee, we also provide a co-creation platform where league members can collaborate with one another to expand their businesses.
4. Dissemination
We broadcast the initiatives of our league members in collaboration with the media! By making their businesses known to a wider audience, we aim to expand opportunities for new matchmaking and success.
