InnoJin Exhibits at International Women's Day PASONA Women's Forum 2026 — Next-Generation Online Ophthalmic Solutions Supporting the "Eye Health" of Working Women —

InnoJin Exhibiting at PASONA Women's Forum

InnoJin Inc. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takenori Inomata), a developer of ophthalmology-focused Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) utilizing smartphones and VR, announced on March 6 its participation in the "International Women's Day PASONA Women's Forum 2026" starting today.

At this forum, the company is showcasing two cutting-edge solutions designed to support the health and productivity of the workforce.

■ "Online Ophthalmology" as a Corporate Benefit

The first exhibit features the "Online Ophthalmology Platform" offered as a corporate employee benefit service.

This service allows employees to consult with specialists via smartphone or PC, addressing common eye issues such as hay fever, dry eye, and eye strain. A key feature is that prescriptions and medications are promptly delivered to the employee's home or workplace, allowing busy professionals or remote workers to begin treatment early without the hassle of visiting a clinic.

■ "Dry Eye Checker": Easy Checks via Smartphone

The second exhibit is the "Dry Eye Checker" (unapproved in Japan), a smartphone application currently under development for dry eye diagnostic support.

By using a smartphone camera to measure blink patterns (maximum blink interval) and combining this with a proprietary questionnaire, the app provides a preliminary evaluation of dry eye symptoms. Aiming to be the first SaMD in the field of ophthalmology, the prototype is being introduced at this event.

Through its exhibition at this forum themed around "Women's Empowerment," InnoJin aims to accelerate the improvement of medical access through digital technology and provide robust solutions for companies promoting health and productivity management.

■ ICT Startup League
This support program was launched in FY2023, triggered by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "Seed-stage R&D Support Project for Startup Creation."
The ICT Startup League supports startups through four main pillars:
1. R&D Funding & Hands-on Support
Up to 20 million yen in R&D funding is provided in the form of subsidies. In terms of hands-on support, the selection committee members who evaluated the league members continue to provide guidance after the selection process to promote growth. For companies rated as "must-adopt" by evaluators, a support system is established where the evaluators themselves provide ongoing assistance, such as advice on business plans and opportunities for growth.
2. Discovery & Development
The program provides opportunities for learning and networking to accelerate the business growth of league members. It also focuses on discovering future entrepreneurs to expand the startup ecosystem.
3. Competition & Co-creation
Functioning like a professional sports league, it serves as a platform for positive competition where startups learn together and strive to win the necessary funding (up to 20 million yen). It also provides a space for co-creation, where league members can collaborate and expand their businesses through sessions with selection committee members and various networking opportunities.
4. Media Outreach
The program collaborates with media outlets to broadcast the efforts of league members. By increasing public awareness of these businesses, the program aims to expand opportunities for new matching and business prospects.
