Prossell Holdings Inc. (Headquarters: Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture; CEO: Kazuki Yokoyama), a company specializing in career partnership services for KOSEN (National Institute of Technology) students, announced on February 4th that CEO Yokoyama will participate as a speaker in the "KOSEN-born Startup Session" at the General Meeting of the Kosenjin Association, "KOSENJIN SUMMIT 2026," to be held on March 1, 2026.
"KOSENJIN SUMMIT" is an event designed to spotlight the outstanding achievements of KOSEN graduates ("Kosenjin"), fostering mutual learning and creating a positive impact on society. This third edition will be hosted at STATION Ai in Nagoya.
The "KOSEN-born Startup Session" featuring Mr. Yokoyama will bring together a new generation of entrepreneurs following in the footsteps of established KOSEN alumni CEOs from listed companies such as Fuller, jig.jp, and SAKURA internet.
Joining him on stage will be ICT Startup League members Mr. Higuchi (Closer Inc.), Mr. Kobayashi (ElevationSpace Inc.), and Mr. Takase (Socialups Inc.). They are expected to share the "realities" of entrepreneurship, discussing how they leveraged the technical skills honed at KOSEN and how they overcame specific business challenges.
Prossell Holdings is a company dedicated to promoting business roll-ups and new venture creation for KOSEN-originated startups.
Through this appearance, the company aims to deliver a message of encouragement to aspiring KOSEN entrepreneurs and contribute to the growth of an ecosystem that consolidates the technical prowess and practical skills of KOSEN graduates. Additionally, the "With KOSEN Career Research Seminar in Nagoya," a recruitment event exclusively for KOSEN students, will be held on the preceding day, February 28th.
■ About the ICT Startup League
Launched in FY2023 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) as part of its "R&D Support Project for Creating Startups," this program supports entrepreneurs through four main pillars:
1. R&D Funding & Hands-on Support
Providing up to 20 million yen in R&D grants. Evaluation committee members provide continuous, "fan-like" support, offering advice on business plans and growth opportunities to companies they are passionate about helping succeed.
2. Discovery & Development
Creating opportunities for learning and networking to accelerate business growth, while also identifying and supporting potential future entrepreneurs to expand the startup base.
3. Competition & Co-creation
A sports-league-style environment where startups engage in positive competition to secure necessary funding (up to 20 million yen). It also serves as a platform for co-creation, where members can collaborate and expand their businesses through various sessions.
4. Promotion
Broadcasting the initiatives of league members in collaboration with various media outlets to increase brand awareness and create new matching opportunities.
