aipass Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Mayumi Yamada), a company supporting operational efficiency for accommodation facilities, announced on December 25 that it has launched a system integration with Edeyans Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo), the developer of the housekeeping DX platform "Jtas."
By utilizing the "aipass" Open API to achieve real-time, two-way data synchronization with Edeyans' "Jtas," the partnership aims to centralize the management of front desk and cleaning operations, significantly improving hotel management efficiency.
Through this integration, check-in/out information and room status are immediately reflected in "Jtas," allowing cleaning staff to determine via their own devices whether they can enter a room for cleaning.
Additionally, cleaning completion status is automatically reflected in "aipass," enabling front desk staff to smoothly manage room assignments and determine availability for early check-ins. This reduces paper and phone confirmations on-site, contributing to improved service quality.
This integration has already been implemented at "KARIYUSHI LCH. RESORT on The Beach," a hotel operated by Kariyushi Co., Ltd. in Okinawa Prefecture.
The hotel has also introduced self-check-in kiosks and smart lock integration, establishing a new operational model that digitalizes the entire process from the front desk to the back office and housekeeping. This achieves both efficient operation with a small team and high customer satisfaction.
■ About the ICT Startup League
This support program was launched in FY2023, sparked by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "Program to Support Creation of Startups."
The ICT Startup League supports startups through four key pillars:
1. R&D Funding / Hands-on Support
Up to 20 million yen in R&D funding is provided in the form of a grant. Additionally, the selection committee members who participated in the selection process continue to provide hands-on support to promote growth. For companies that committee members "absolutely want to select," a dedicated support system—akin to "fandom culture"—is built, where the members themselves provide continuous support, such as advice on business plans and offering growth opportunities.
2. Discovery & Cultivation
We provide learning and networking opportunities to encourage the business growth of league members.
We also deploy initiatives to discover those aiming to start businesses in the future, aiming to expand the base of entrepreneurship.
3. Competition & Co-creation
The league serves as a venue for positive competition, similar to a sports league, where startups learn together and challenge each other to win the necessary funding (up to 20 million yen). Through various opportunities such as sessions with selection committee members, we also provide a space for co-creation where league members can collaborate to expand their businesses.
4. Dissemination
We broadcast the initiatives of league members in collaboration with the media! By letting more people know about these businesses, we aim to expand new matching opportunities and chances for success.
