Plantio Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; CEO: Takayoshi Serizawa), aiming for the social implementation of "Agri-Food Infrastructure," and Snow Peak Business Solutions (Headquarters: Okazaki, Aichi; President: Shinya Sakata) announced on February 13 that they will co-host "Takibi Bar." This urban community event invites participants to enjoy dialogue around a bonfire at the rooftop farm of the Otemachi Building in Tokyo.
The kickoff event will be held over two days, Monday, March 16, and Tuesday, March 17, 2026. In an increasingly digital age, the event uses the analog medium of a "bonfire" to provide a space where business professionals can engage in honest conversation, transcending job titles and hierarchies.
The venue is "The Edible Park OTEMACHI by grow," a rooftop farm atop the Otemachi Building. Located in one of Japan's leading business districts, this space allows visitors to connect with soil and greenery while gathered around a bonfire made with real firewood.
The event leverages the relaxation effect of "1/f fluctuation" inherent in bonfire flames to foster psychological safety among participants. Through dialogue workshops themed "What does it mean to work humanly?", the project aims to spark insights that lead to organizational development, human resource cultivation, and community building.
This event marks the first phase of a co-creation project combining "Agritainment" (Agriculture + Entertainment), advocated by Plantio, with the "Noasobi" (outdoor play) elements developed by Snow Peak Business Solutions.
Both companies aim to hold "Takibi Bar" regularly, establishing it as a new communication infrastructure within urban areas. The kickoff event will be conducted on an invitation-only basis with advance reservations required (capacity of 20 people per day).
■ ICT Startup League
This support program was launched in FY2023, initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "Project for Supporting Seed-stage R&D for Startup Creation."
The ICT Startup League supports startups through four main pillars:
1. R&D Funding / Hands-on Support
Up to 20 million yen in R&D expenses is provided in the form of subsidies. In terms of hands-on support, the selection committee members who evaluated the league members continue to stay close and promote growth even after the selection process. For companies highly rated by committee members as "must-adopt," a support system similar to "fandom-style support" is established, where the evaluators themselves provide ongoing advice on business plans and growth opportunities.
2. Discovery & Cultivation
We provide opportunities for learning and networking that encourage the business growth of league members. Furthermore, we work to discover individuals aiming to start businesses in the future, aiming to expand the startup ecosystem.
3. Competition & Co-creation
The league serves as a venue for positive competition, much like a sports league, where startups learn together and strive to win the necessary funding (up to 20 million yen). It also provides a space for co-creation where league members can collaborate and expand their businesses through various opportunities, such as sessions with selection committee members.
4. Communication
We collaborate with the media to share the initiatives of league members! By raising awareness of these businesses, we aim to expand opportunities for new matching and business prospects.
