iiba Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Nana Aizawa), the developer and operator of the childcare map app 'iiba', announced on November 14th that it has been selected for the 4th Batch of the 'XLIMIT' accelerator program hosted by Global Brain Co., Ltd.
'XLIMIT' is a support program for pre-Series A startups, provided by Global Brain, which manages over 380 billion yen in total assets.
The 'XLIMIT' 4th Batch will run from October 2025 to January 2026. Selected companies will receive financial support as well as hands-on guidance from experts in a wide range of fields such as legal, finance, product growth, recruitment, and PR, along with active venture capitalists.
With the vision of "building a new childcare infrastructure to create a society where raising children is easier," iiba Inc. develops and operates the 'iiba' map platform for families, in addition to engaging in local government DX projects and event production.
CEO Nana Aizawa commented, "Through this program, we want to strengthen our business and refine our system so that many families and communities can connect, and child-rearing can spread as a 'joy for all of society'."
With the support of Global Brain, the company stated it will continue to grow and take on challenges to realize the "new childcare infrastructure" envisioned by 'iiba'.
■ICT Startup League
This is a support program launched in FY2023, triggered by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "Support Project for Startup-style Exploratory R&D".
The ICT Startup League supports startups through four pillars.
①R&D Funding / Hands-On Support
Up to 20 million yen in R&D expenses is provided as a subsidy. Additionally, in the hands-on support, the selection committee members involved in choosing league members continue to mentor them post-selection to promote growth. For companies that a committee member "absolutely wanted to select," a "fan-like" support system is established where the committee member personally and continuously provides advice on business plans and offers growth opportunities.
②Discovery & Nurturing
We provide opportunities for learning and networking to promote the business growth of league members.
We also work to discover aspiring entrepreneurs, aiming to broaden the base.
③Competition & Co-creation
It serves as a place for positive competition, much like a sports league, with a system where startups learn together, compete constructively, and win the funding they truly need (up to 20 million yen). We also provide a space for co-creation, where league members can collaborate and expand their businesses through various opportunities, such as sessions with selection committee members.
④Promotion
We promote the initiatives of league members in collaboration with the media! By raising awareness of their businesses, we aim to expand opportunities for new matching and chances.
