Toyooka City is working towards realizing a "Small Global City - Local & Global City -" by collaborating with citizens, local communities, businesses, and the government to address local issues and revitalize the region, including a project to reintroduce wild storks and address the gender gap. We welcome projects that utilize Toyooka City's diverse resources (people, things, and events) to demonstrate and experiment with unique technologies and ideas that contribute to solving social issues.
Furthermore, since April 2024, we have established the "Future Co-creation Office" as a window for public-private collaboration to promote this initiative.

Towards the realization of a small global city - Local & Global City -
Our city has adopted "A Small Global City - Local & Global City -" as its guiding principle for urban development. We deliberately use the word "local" instead of "small" to express our aim to be a city that, despite its small population, is respected and valued by people around the world through its local and unique characteristics. To this end, we are working on initiatives such as the stork reintroduction project and efforts to close the gender gap, with citizens, local communities, businesses, and the government collaborating. We welcome projects that demonstrate and experiment with unique technologies and ideas that contribute to solving local issues, using Toyooka City's various resources (people, things, and events) as a stage.
