They will discuss the future of security talent from diverse perspectives.
The hands-on workshops feature a lineup suitable for beginners to experienced students, including "Introduction to AI Threat Modeling," "Log Analysis Battle," "Practical Bug Bounty Introduction," and "My First Hacking." Experts in each field have been invited as instructors to support the acquisition of practical skills.
Furthermore, an environment conducive to young talent participation has been established, including the provision of travel expenses for students attending in person.
■ ICT Startup League
This is a support program launched in FY2023, initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "Project for Research and Development of Startup-Creation related Outgrowth."
The ICT Startup League supports startups through four pillars:
1. R&D Funding / Hands-on Support
Up to 20 million yen in R&D funding is provided as a grant. In terms of hands-on support, the selection and evaluation committee members who were involved in selecting the league members will continue to provide support and promote growth after selection. For companies that committee members strongly wish to adopt, a "fandom-like" support system is built where the evaluators themselves provide continuous support, such as advice on business plans and offering growth opportunities.
2. Discovery & Incubation
We provide opportunities for learning and networking to promote the business growth of league members.
We also expand the scope by discovering those aiming to start businesses in the future.
3. Competition & Co-creation
Designed as a positive competitive arena like a sports league, startups learn together and compete to win the necessary funding (up to 20 million yen). It also provides a place for co-creation where league members collaborate to expand their businesses through various opportunities, such as sessions with selection and evaluation committee members.
4. Promotion
We promote the initiatives of league members in collaboration with media! By letting more people know about their businesses, we aim to expand opportunities for new matching and chances.
