MOLTON to Exhibit and Speak at "B&L CIRCLE 2026" with "Cloud Legal" ― Solving Legal Talent Shortages with a GenAI x Lawyer ALSP; Event held on January 30 ―

B&L CIRCLE 2026 Exhibition and Presentation

MOLTON Inc. (formerly a23s Inc.; Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yasufumi Sakichi), provider of the GenAI-powered corporate legal outsourcing service "Cloud Legal," announced on January 19 that it will exhibit and speak at the "B&L CIRCLE 2026 Corporate Legal x Lawyer Networking Conference" organized by Business & Law LLC.

The event will take place on January 30, 2026, at KABUTO ONE in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. MOLTON will present its initiatives as an ALSP (Alternative Legal Service Provider), which is gaining attention as a solution to the shortage of legal personnel.

■ Proposing a New Form of Legal Services with "Generative AI x Lawyers"

On the day of the event, Yuri Okura, the company's CoS (Chief of Staff), will take the stage for a presentation. Titled "What is an 'Alternative Legal Service Provider,' a New Means to Solve the Legal Talent Shortage?", she will explain usage examples and the introduction effects of "Cloud Legal," which fuses BPaaS-model generative AI with a professional lawyer framework.

"Cloud Legal" is a service that provides contract review and drafting, legal consultation, and internal regulation maintenance via the internet. By combining AI with human experts, it realizes high-quality and reasonable legal support.

■ Addressing the Shortage of Specialized Legal and IP Personnel

In recent years, while corporate legal tasks such as economic security and IP strategy have increased and become more complex, the shortage of specialized personnel has become a significant challenge.

Through this conference, MOLTON aims to communicate the utility of legal outsourcing available to companies of all sizes and contribute to strengthening corporate competitiveness.

■ ICT Startup League
This support program was launched in FY2023, initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "Program to Support Embryonic Research and Development for Startup Creation."
The ICT Startup League supports startups through four main pillars:
1. R&D Funding / Hands-on Support
Up to 20 million JPY in research and development funding is provided in the form of grants. Additionally, through hands-on support, the evaluation committee members who were involved in the selection of league members continue to stay close after selection to promote growth. For companies that the evaluation committee members rated as "must-select," a support system likened to "Oshi-katsu" (enthusiastic backing) is established, where the committee members themselves provide continuous support, such as advice on business plans and providing growth opportunities.
2. Discovery & Cultivation
We provide opportunities for learning and networking to encourage the business growth of league members.
We also expand the base by discovering people who aim to start businesses in the future.
3. Competition & Co-creation
It serves as a venue for positive competition, much like a sports league, where startups learn together and improve themselves while competing to win the necessary funding (up to 20 million JPY). We also provide a place for co-creation where league members can collaborate to expand their businesses through various opportunities such as sessions by the evaluation committee members.
4. Dissemination
We broadcast the initiatives of league members in cooperation with the media! By letting more people know about their businesses, we aim to expand the field for new matching and opportunities.
