Prossell Inc. (Headquarters: Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture; Representative Director/CEO: Kazuki Yokoyama), which operates a career partnership business targeting KOSEN (National Institute of Technology) students, announced on November 25 that it will hold the "With KOSEN Career Research Seminar in Okayama"—a job hunting event exclusively for KOSEN students—on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

This event is a matching opportunity designed primarily for KOSEN students in the Chugoku-Shikoku region. It aims to bring together up to 200 students with companies interested in hiring KOSEN graduates for direct engagement.

■ Encouraging Participation by Covering Full Travel Expenses

Prossell is a startup established by a founder who is a graduate of Nagaoka KOSEN. By leveraging the know-how cultivated so far, the event aims to create meaningful encounters that provide value for both students and companies.

Students participating from the Chugoku-Shikoku region (including Ube, Tokuyama, Kure, Matsue, Yonago, Takamatsu, etc.) will have their travel expenses fully reimbursed, creating an environment where they can plan their future careers with peace of mind. Companies will be provided with booth space to facilitate direct interaction with students.

■ Solving the "Contact Point" Challenge in KOSEN Recruitment

While the employment rate for KOSEN students is extremely high—creating a "seller's market" with a job-to-applicant ratio exceeding 20—companies often face the challenge of establishing initial contact points with these students.

The "With KOSEN Career Research Seminar in Okayama" resolves this issue by providing an opportunity for students and companies to "get to know each other deeply." The event will be held at TKP Garden City Okayama, with support from the General Incorporated Foundation Kosenjinkai.

■ About the ICT Startup League
This is a support program launched in FY2023, initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "Start-up Creation Type Exploratory Research and Development Support Project."
The ICT Startup League supports startups through four main pillars:
1. R&D Funding / Hands-on Support
Up to 20 million JPY is provided in the form of R&D subsidies. Additionally, through "hands-on support," selection committee members involved in the league member selection process continue to stay close to the companies after selection to promote growth. A "passionate advocacy" support system is built in, where committee members who strongly desired to select a specific company provide continuous support themselves, such as advice on business plans and providing growth opportunities.
2. Discovery & Development
The league provides learning opportunities and meeting places to encourage the business growth of league members.
It also deploys initiatives to discover those aiming to start businesses in the future, aiming to expand the base of entrepreneurship.
3. Competition & Co-creation
Designed as a venue for positive competition akin to a sports league, startups learn together and improve through friendly rivalry while competing to win the necessary funding (up to 20 million JPY). It also provides a space for co-creation where league members can collaborate to expand their businesses through various opportunities, such as sessions with selection committee members.
4. Dissemination
The initiatives of league members are broadcast in collaboration with media! By letting more people know about these businesses, the league aims to expand opportunities for new matching and chances.
