Okinawa aims to be a 'future blue economy hub' that will spark global innovation as a 'bridge between nations' connecting Japan, Asia, and the world from Okinawa. It aims to develop advantages and solve problems in island regions, focusing on areas such as tourism, healthcare, energy, and the circular economy.
Based on platform support from the consortium, the consortium provides funding and acceleration programs in the start-up stage, and business development and fundraising support during the growth stage. It also provides startup support tailored to each stage of growth, from founding to overseas expansion, by accompanying startups aiming to expand overseas to accelerate growth and providing subsidies to startups that have already received venture capital investment. It also operates a startup visa system to help overseas startups enter the region.

As the content industry is positioned as a core industry of the nation, we are also working on the social applications of anime.

STARTUP LEAGUE Message as a Supporter
MESSAGE

I look forward to new ways in which anime can be used socially.

Since the broadcast of "Astro Boy," Japan's first TV anime series, in 1963, anime has undergone significant development and is now one of Japan's leading industries.
In recent years, anime has expanded beyond simply being enjoyed as a form of entertainment to also being used for corporate public relations and promotion.
As creators of anime ourselves, we aspire to participate in this program with the aim of contributing to creating an environment where startup companies can collaborate with the content sector to advance social implementation.
We look forward to seeing new "social applications of anime" proposed from the flexible thinking of the Startup League members.
