From basic research to clinical applications and social implementation — A new ecosystem of medical education through collaboration among three universities
Our university is a medical university comprised of four departments: Nursing, Radiological Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, and Medical Engineering, and we provide interprofessional medical personnel education. We offer a wide range of education, from basic medical sciences such as microbiology and radiology to the training of highly specialized nursing professionals such as NPs (Nursing Practitioners). We also have an environment where we can easily collaborate with affiliated hospitals such as Kyushu Medical Center, which serves as a field for system and application implementation research. Furthermore, since 2025, we have entered into a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Kurume Institute of Technology and Kyushu Otani Junior College, and we have established a system that enables us to cooperate in training personnel with multifaceted expertise by building a tripartite model of "engineering," "medicine," and "humanities," extending beyond the medical field.

Our university is a medical-focused university comprised of four departments: Nursing, Radiological Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, and Medical Engineering, and we provide interprofessional medical personnel education. Furthermore, since 2025, we have entered into a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Kurume Institute of Technology and Kyushu Otani Junior College, enabling us to collaborate in developing personnel with multifaceted expertise by building a tripartite model encompassing "engineering," "medicine," and "human studies," going beyond just the medical field. Leveraging this strength in multifaceted personnel education, we are currently developing a team project with local governments to foster connections between people, aiming to create new values for the new era across generations through these connections.
