In Search of 'Universal Value'—Music Industry Hitmaker Develops Meeting Production App to Accelerate Business Communication

Music has always been a primary form of entertainment and culture, enriching people's lives in every era. Numéro.8 Inc. is a company founded by Naoki Oka, who entered the music industry at a young age.

Development of an online meeting system using ICT technology

Numéro.8 aims to solve the challenges of “atmosphere” and “difficulty conveying emotions” in online communication through sound and production technology. The online meeting production app ‘ScenarioDip’ introduces the concept of “production” to conventional video conferencing, providing a new communication experience where not only spoken content but also ‘atmosphere’ and “impression” can be shared.
By synchronizing sound and visual effects, it recreates the immersive feel of real-world events online.
It is particularly designed for use in presentation, sales, education, and entertainment fields.
Through this project in the ICT Startup League, we will focus on the following three areas:
1. Quantifying and Visualizing Emotional UX
Applying AI-based speech analysis and audio emotion analysis to visualizing “effective communication styles” and “impression changes”.
2. Research and development of production techniques × UX design
Promoting optimization of UI/UX that allows users to easily create the “atmosphere of the moment” with simple operations.
3. Redefining digital communication
Socially implementing experiences that are “effective and memorable” even online, creating new standards for how we work, learn, and communicate.

Representative	Naoki Oka Composer/Arranger / Music Producer / Sound Space Designer. In 2015, founded Numéro.8 Inc. as a music production company. To date, has produced over 1,000 music tracks across J-POP, anime, and game fields, including the ending theme for “Dragon Ball Kai,” works for AKB48, NEMOPHILA, and L'Arc~en~Ciel's TETSUYA. In recent years, he has advanced research and development integrating the psychological effects of sound with spatial design. Based on the concept that “sound regulates human emotions and environments,” he is expanding applications within the ICT field. Through developing the sound environment SaaS app “Sound Veil” and the online meeting production app “ScenarioDip,” he aims to create new social value for sound.
