Our mission is to deliver next-generation medical devices and healthcare services that support brain and physical health to the frontlines. We are a startup company established in February 2021 as part of the Keio University School of Medicine Venture Consortium. In fields such as neurology and sleep medicine, there are many diseases whose causes and treatments remain unclear, causing suffering for countless people worldwide. Our team consists of medical-engineering researchers, neurologists, and PhDs in science and engineering, enabling us to handle everything from technology development to clinical application under one roof. By leveraging our strengths, we aim to create a world where patients can live their lives authentically “anytime, anywhere.”
We aim to commercialize a therapeutic smartphone app that analyzes apnea indices measured by our proprietary home sleep assessment device, nemurin®, using cloud-based analysis and AI to guide patients toward improvement within two weeks. nemurin?'s medical-grade measurement and analysis algorithms (patent pending) and its clinical trial framework centered on sleep clinics create high entry barriers, which are expected to improve treatment continuation rates and promote early screening for the estimated 9 million potential patients, thereby reducing medical costs. As research and development elements, the company is focusing on: ① developing a smartphone app, ② developing an AI algorithm that proposes optimized intervention plans for each patient, and ③ creating educational content to promote understanding of the condition. Ultimately, these elements will be integrated into a unified system.
