Sukidayo Inc. is a startup that uses technology to revolutionize family and partnership issues. Currently, in Japan, one couple divorces every three minutes, and even in cases where divorce does not occur, 63% of couples experience a deterioration in their relationship after childbirth. The key to preventing relationship deterioration is “communication,” but only 1-2% of couples are able to communicate effectively. Therefore, Sukidayo uses AI to support communication between couples and provides a casual dialogue experience that makes it easier to communicate. Sukiyo aims to become a global relationship care app used by 100 million people and will continue to evolve with a sense of urgency.

Why Do Men Who Avoid "Talking" Invite Their Partners Themselves? —A Global Strategy to Optimize "Couple Dialogue" with AI—

In Japan, one out of every three couples divorces. Even among those who do not, over 60% of child-rearing households experience a deterioration in their marital relationship after childbirth. The biggest cause is a "lack of dialogue." However, only 10% to 20% of couples actually practice daily "discussions."

Hypothesis testing for commercialization of AI Couples Tech app for global use

In this project, we will develop and verify an algorithm that automatically selects and proposes “questions that are needed now” based on the relationship between couples and their conversation history. Through new personalization technologies specialized in relationship data, UX process design that takes into account the cultural background and nuances of expression in each country, and multifaceted analysis of UX elements that influence conversation and response behavior, we aim to implement and demonstrate AI-based relationship support.
By integrating these efforts, we will continue to actively pursue research and development aimed at enhancing the quality of everyday conversations, accommodating diverse relationship dynamics, and advancing the social implementation of ICT that deepens human connections.

Representative Yuka Soma
Born in 1993 in Saitama Prefecture. Enrolled at Aoyama Gakuin University and researched communication between couples in the United States.
In 2019, inspired by his own marriage, he became motivated to address social issues related to marriage and family, leading him to launch the “Futari Kaigi” app, a communication support tool for dual-income couples.
In 2022, published the book “Balancing Work and Family: The Amazing Communication Techniques of Dual-Income Couples.”
In 2024, selected as one of the “100 People to Watch: Hope for Saving the World” by Forbes Japan.
