At corroquium Inc. we aim to create a world where people who have lost their voices due to cancer and other illnesses can regain their voices and communicate freely! Representative Director Masaki Takeuchi received his doctorate (engineering) from the University of Tokyo in March 2025!
On April 25, 2025, we registered as a corporation, and on May 8, “Voice Day,” we launched a limited pre-order campaign for 58 units of Laryphonix, a device designed to help those who have lost their voices regain their ability to speak! Laryphonix is a wearable device that allows users to speak simply by wearing it and moving their lips. We plan to launch a global crowdfunding campaign by the end of this year! To that end, we will continue to work diligently on development toward the campaign launch!

Corroquium to Host "Singing Once More" Meetup Featuring "Laryphonix" Artificial Larynx

Corroquium Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masaki Takeuchi) announced on March 11 that it will host its inaugural community event, "Singing Once More," featuring the "Laryphonix" hands-free artificial larynx.The event will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in Minato-ku, Tokyo (Shinbashi Seki Building). From the perspective of integrating technology with the arts, the initiative explores how those who have lost their voices can live authentically, using "song" as a starting point.

Aiming for a future of 'Voice Cosplay' to enjoy like fashion: The hands-free artificial larynx 'Laryphonix' answers the wishes of people struggling with voice loss

Masaki Takeuchi was deeply moved in high school by the reality that people with hearing impairments couldn't enjoy music. In college, he got involved in 'MyVoice,' a support project for ALS patients, and became certain that 'vocalization support' was his path. While communication methods for people who have lost their voice previously had many challenges, 'Laryphonix' by Corroquium is bringing innovation. With its updated stylish design and pursuit of reproducing the user's own voice, it answers the desire to 'speak with my own voice.' We explore the passion of Mr. Takeuchi, who speaks of a future where 'voice' can be enjoyed like a fashion item.

Development of a hands-free wearable electric artificial larynx that reproduces the human voice

In current wearable devices, vibration noise leakage is a major issue, so we will develop a new vibrator with less vibration noise leakage. The representative and engineers will divide the work on vibration noise and structure, and design a structure that suppresses vibration noise leakage. Additionally, we will develop vibration sounds with inflection using machine learning. Combining the developed structure that suppresses vibration noise and leakage, we will have the device tested by 10 general users and patients to verify whether it is more user-friendly compared to conventional products. We will then launch a global crowdfunding campaign for the new product.
