Based on the concept of “sustainable community development through temples,” we are a company that uses IT technology to solve problems faced by temples one by one and expand the potential of temples. Currently, we are working to promote DX in the temple industry by developing and providing “TERATECHCHO” as an industry-specific CRM to solve the succession problems of temples. We will co-create with local communities and businesses by providing support for the administration and utilization of temple customer databases and public relations activities, as well as planning and producing projects that make the most of temple assets. By digitally connecting temples, customers, and communities, and by fostering added value as a temple in the modern age, we will realize a symbiotic society based on temples and a regional ECOsystem.
As social issues such as loneliness and isolation increase, so do expectations for the role of temples. On the other hand, the temple industry is facing issues such as a decline in donations and an increase in temple abandonements due to the simplification of funerals, a decline in visits to temples, and a weakening of connections. There is an urgent need to shift from paper-based temple work and legal affairs to ICT-based management. Teratekucho solves these issues by using ICT to manage information in temple management and build relationships with parishioners, accumulating and sharing information, and building relationships with parishioners. In this research, we will work on investigating and researching the functions and specifications that should be developed for Teratekucho in order to promote the use of ICT in the industry, and accelerate digital transformation throughout the industry.

| Childhood Dream | When I was in elementary school, my dream was to become a track and field athlete. |
| Influential People, Things, and Events | Person: My club advisor in high school. Thing: The saying goes, "Unprecedented events happen before your eyes." Event: My experience starting a business as the first employee of environmental startup Loop Japan. |
| Motivation, Goals, and Ideal World | Originally, I was not a person who aimed to start a business. There were two events that triggered my desire to start a business. The first was that I wanted to reexamine the market value of the experiences I had in my 20s, so I participated in an event related to local companies, and was fortunate enough to be involved in supporting local companies, which made me realize the value of my experiences. The second was that I was able to experience the excitement of working with stakeholders, both inside and outside the company, to solve a social problem at an environmental startup, at a place closest to the field. These two experiences shaped the outline of my entrepreneurship, and what led me to launch my current business was the death of a family member. I realized the value of temples, which I had been in contact with since childhood but had not noticed, and learned about the crisis situation, and felt that I had to do something about it! This led me to start my own business. I believe that temples have value as local communities and infrastructure. Temples are places where you can feel safe, you can learn from their teachings, and you can also cultivate morality. It is said that 40% of temples that have continued for generations are being lost due to various environmental factors. Through our business, we will solve the problem of temple succession and revitalize temples as a part of local communities and infrastructure, thereby contributing to a society in which everyone can live a safe and secure life in each region. We will create these things together with the temples. |
