We will research and develop wΞlock, an authentication and authorization device, and a smart lock system based on smart contracts. wΞlock performs user authentication through digital signatures using wallets and confirmation (authorization) of device usage rights based on smart contracts, which are programs on the blockchain. Specifically, smart locks' unlocking and locking operations can be realized by confirming the ownership of NFTs. This grant program will focus on research and development of offline authentication functions, on-chain subscription functions, mobile apps, and systems for authentication authorization by smart contracts without relying on centralized systems.
