鶴田 修一
He joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2011. He formulated government targets for greenhouse gas emissions and proposed national projects such as technology development projects to realize an IoT society. He then gained experience in a wide range of roles at private companies such as Recruit Career Co., Ltd., including corporate sales, back office work, corporate planning, and leading IPO preparations.
After assuming his post at Osaka University in 2021, he was involved in a wide range of work, including the launch of the Osaka University Co-Creation Incubation Center. |

○Collaborative research achievements
Since June 2020, engaged in research and development of "Research and development of wireless equipment calibration network with quantum phenomenon-based traceability" with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology and others in the NEDO Innovative Sensor Project.
○Management achievements
・Since April 2012, coordinated with 10 general electric power companies (Tokyo Electric Power Company, Kansai Electric Power Company, etc.) in adjusting power supply and demand after the Great East Japan Earthquake and formulated summer and winter power saving targets.
・Since May 2014, as the section chief for international affairs in the non-ferrous industry, he was in charge of the non-ferrous industry such as aluminum and magnesium, and negotiated economic partnership agreements (EPAs) and free trade agreements (FTAs) including the TPP.
・Since June 2016, at the NEDO Technology Strategy Research Center, he formulated a technology strategy in the nanotechnology and materials fields for the next-generation IoT society and proposed an innovative sensor project.
・Since April 2019, he has been engaged in IPO promotion work as the general manager of the management department.
- Since October 2021, he has been engaged in site management duties as deputy director of the "Future Intellectual Infrastructure Model Dissemination Center," a co-creation space creation support program. |

When I was a child, I didn't have any particular dreams, and I think I spent my time playing freely in nature. Even when I was a student, I hardly studied at all until I started research in the lab, and I didn't have any big goals. |

| Motivation, Goals, and Ideal World |
While working as a civil servant and company employee, I wanted to create a social system at my own discretion and responsibility, and chose to start a company as a way to achieve this. I want to spend the time I have left to leave a better society for future generations, so I founded a company to maximize the return on my time.
There are many issues facing society, and it is impossible to solve them all, but I am currently working on "aging infrastructure and sustainable urban development," which is something I can do. My immediate goal is to build a model case that is as good as possible in Japan, where the population is declining and the birthrate is aging. |
