iiba Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Nana Aizawa), the developer and operator of the parenting map app "iiba," announced on March 13 the launch of a limited-time special coupon campaign. The campaign will take place at "AEON MALL Dainichi" and participating stores in the surrounding area of Moriguchi City, Osaka.
The campaign runs from Saturday, March 14, 2026, to Tuesday, March 31, 2026, aiming to support the daily lives of families raising children during the busy spring season of new beginnings.
This campaign is designed to support the lives of local residents by creating opportunities for the parenting generation to discover and feel comfortable using a diverse range of local shops.
A total of 23 establishments across various genres—including restaurants, drugstores, educational centers, and sports clubs—are participating. Users can receive discounts and special benefits simply by presenting the coupon screen within the "iiba" app to staff at participating locations.
Spring is a season of major lifestyle changes, such as graduations and school enrollments. While it is a time of excitement, it can also be a period of uncertainty, with parents wondering where to buy essentials or which local shops are truly "child-friendly."
"Moriguchi City is a vibrant town home to a wide range of generations," commented Ms. Aizawa, CEO of iiba. "Through iiba, we hope these 18 days make the neighborhood feel just a little more special." Moving forward, the company aims to go beyond simply providing discounts, striving to create experiences through the app that make daily life "lighter and richer" while improving satisfaction within the local community.
■ ICT Startup League
This support program was launched in fiscal year 2023, sparked by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "Project for Supporting Seed-stage Research and Development for Startup Creation."
The ICT Startup League supports startups through four main pillars:
① R&D Funding / Hands-on Support
Providing up to 20 million yen in R&D funding via subsidies. Furthermore, the selection committee members who evaluated the league members continue to provide hands-on support to accelerate growth. For companies highly rated by evaluators, a support system is established where the evaluators themselves provide ongoing advice on business plans and growth opportunities—acting as dedicated "mentors" or "advocates."
② Discovery & Cultivation
Providing opportunities for learning and networking to promote the business growth of league members. The program also focuses on discovering aspiring entrepreneurs to expand the startup ecosystem.
③ Competition & Co-creation
Functioning like a positive sports league, startups learn and compete together to win the funding they need (up to 20 million yen). It also serves as a platform for "co-creation," where league members collaborate to expand their businesses through sessions with selection committee members and various networking opportunities.
④ Promotion
Broadcasting the initiatives of league members in collaboration with the media. By sharing these business stories with a wider audience, the program aims to expand opportunities for new matching and partnerships.
